Joy Comes In The Morning!

God reminded and inspired me through an Afrobeat song by Vic Lucas, “Joy is coming,” as I was driving early in the morning to walk the dog before it got really hot. This is God’s word to us. It comes from the scripture that says the following: How beautiful, holy, good and true is the Lord!

For His anger is but for a moment, His favour is for life;

Weeping may endure for a night, But Joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 30:5

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;

You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,

To the end that my glory may sing praise to You

And not be silent.

O LORD, my God, I will give thanks to you forever.

Psalm 30:11-12

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.

Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

Psalm 63:3-4

He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.

Psalm 103:9

I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah

Psalm 143:6

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You;

My soul thirsts for You;

My flesh longs for You

In a dry and thirsty land

Where there is no water.

Psalm 63:1

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

When shall I come and appear before God?

Psalm 42:2

As I dug a bit into the theme of Joy, I cross-referenced from the Bible, and these are some of the words God speaks to us, how precious His words are to us, wow! I am in awe of God!

How blessed we are to have the Words of the Living God on paper. God’s Presence, His Holy Spirit, is with us and in us; if we wanted something tangible of God, well, there it is: His Word.

When things are dark, and we all go through these dark times on and off throughout our lives, God does not leave us or forsake us, and He does bring us through it, no matter what. Our faith grows in and through trial as He changes and grows and sanctifies us. Believe and hold on to God for dear life, it is an adventure of a ride.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

Even in the storm and the darkness, He is there, and as the scripture says, weeping may be in the night, but joy comes in the morning. How beautiful and encouraging is that?

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

James 1:2-4

Humans, we let each other down and hurt one another, but God will never let you down, and that is a fact. Who can forgive our evil and shameful acts but God! Wow, how hopeful is that, and on top of that, life does not end in the grave with dread and punishment for our sins, if we are born-again in the Lord Jesus, forgiven of our sins, but our lives continue in eternity with God. How amazing is that! Hallelujah! Makes me want to shout at the top of my lungs!

Have you experienced it, dear friend? Have you known the goodness of God? I have known His goodness to me my whole life since I can remember, and He has been so good and faithful and merciful to me and my family, so patient and loving, when we do not deserve anything from Him.

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases, His mercies never come to an end;

They are new every morning;

Great is Your faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

Be encouraged, saints and precious souls yet to come into the Kingdom of God!

God is life; there is no life without God!

You want life, then know God. You want forgiveness, healing, hope, joy, peace and rest, then come and know Him and be saved.

Rejoice and be filled with the Joy of the Lord!
